Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Former twice world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
Despite these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British rival Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Still, the novice remains one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would prevent the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Difference
As both boxers met for the traditional stare-down, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is actually going ahead.
